POSTCARDS from PATONES de ARRIBA, SPAIN

BUENOS DIAS from the ancient town of Patones de Arriba which dates back to the early 1500's. The architecture is unique with it's buildings and cobbled streets constructed of dark slate. It seemed quite deserted except for a few bars, restaurants, and sparsely inhabited houses with little doors and windows sized for hobbits, and  narrow alleys crawling with cats. We came across fig trees ripe for the picking and probably ate a few too many, but they sure were tasty!
