A beautiful September day to paddle on Hydraulic Lake with a son, his three boys in one canoe and Grampa and Gramma in their kayaks. It was day 3 of 'home schooling' in face of the provincial wide school strike and the perfect opportunity for a field trip.

Always on the lookout for wildlife we were not disappointed when two deer were spotted.
Lunch break on a small island gave opportunity to explore the shoreline for crayfish and frogs.
