FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND

We began a tradition several years ago to go camping on Father's Day weekend with as many of our family that could make it. With the weather forecast looking a little unsettled we packed up and set up camp at Ellison Provincial Park on Okanagan Lake. The sun shone, seven of our 16 joined us, and we had a fun time.

"He didn't tell me how to live, he lived, and let me watch him do it."
Clarence Budington Kelland
I think our 4 children and 8 grandchildren would echo this sentiment.

Pancakes with strawberries and whipping cream for breakfast.
Our oldest son and 2 of his 3 sons.

Father, second son and oldest grandson.

A fishing lesson with Grampa -
patience, and joy in the experience even when the fish get away.

A pouting princess waiting for her turn.
