STAYING COOL

Staying cool is the order of the day as we wilt in a heat wave that rolls in each day like the tide. Some things are meant to get hot before they are enjoyed cool, like this Sun Tea which hit the spot yesterday to hydrate and refresh our bodies. I have made Sun Tea for years but put a twist on it this time with mint leaves and lime slices. I use a glass gallon jar filled with cold water, 8 teabags, 6 mint leaves and several lime slices. Set in the full sun for about 4 hours. Chill, add sweetener to taste, and sip this light, refreshing drink.
