SUNDAY REFLECTIONS

What a glorious afternoon with the sun shining after a night of rain. Sunday - a day of rest, of 'being' rather than doing. I was reading Eugene Petersens book, "Christ Plays in Ten Thousand Places" this morning at my coffee time at Tim Hortons, and was reflecting on the great things he has to say about being placed in our Eden, not a perfect place, but a place where we are at home in our world, where we join Christ in his play in creation. Today was a perfect time to walk through our neighbourhood forest and marvel at God's glory reflected in the streams, puddles, turtle pond, and in the rain drops hanging precariously from berries and leaves.
