Pleasure is spread through the earth
In stray gifts to be claimed
by whoever shall find
~William Wordsworth, 1806
Half way around our loop trail through the forest we came across this little tree decked with Christmas joy. Every time we take this walk I look for it with anticipation, and it always brings a smile to my face. Sometimes it is the simple things in life, like a few freshly baked goodies shared with a neighbour, or a cheery Merry Christmas greeting to passing strangers that become a joy shared.
