ADVENT EVENING SONG

Gaudete in Domino - Rejoice in the Lord

With anticipation I receive THE WORD

Emmanuel - God with us.

A paradox on this Advent day

light in darkness,

fulfilment as I long and wait

for His return, yet breaking into life today.

God’s glory resonates along the forest path,

stillness on the snow

the bubbling creek whispers through icy floes

crisp air inhaled to refresh my soul.

As daylight fades and evening falls

An old refrain my heart recalls

of Peace on Earth, Good Will to Men

Joy to the world
