"Hold a book in your hand and you're a pilgrim at the gate of a new city."
Hebrew Saying
I keep picking up "World Without End," a 1046 page novel by Ken Follett, and one of these days I will begin this daunting epic. I enjoyed its prequel,"Pillars of the Earth" so I'm not sure why I am having difficulty beginning. I think I am needing something lighter. A read that has not made my list this past year as I am only 2/3 through is, "Christ Plays in Ten Thousand Places," by Eugene Peterson. Highly recommend it.
It's interesting to look back at the various genres which captured my attention this past year.
