GABRIOLA GET-AWAY

Amongst the archipelago at the southern end of the Strait of Georgia lies Gabriola Island, famous for its First Nations petroglyphs which may be thousands of years old. Gabriola Island is a beautiful, tranquil, rural piece of paradise with narrow, winding roads, forested parks and a fascinating sandstone shoreline.
My visit here was specifically a get-away with my three sisters, a time to relax and enjoy each others company at a lovely destination called "A Stones Throw Cottage", tucked into an amazing perennial garden with ponds, a Japanese tea house, and artistic nooks.
The island was a photographers paradise with amazing vistas and intricate details of which I will share a few.

The Gabriola get away was awesome. It was so picturesque and tranquil however the best part was spending time with my sisters.
