HEYBURN STATE PARK - DAY 4

Back on the Trail of the Coeur d' Alene - we drove to the quaint town of Harrison with a population under 300 to access a trailhead which took us east to Medimont along several picturesque lakes, wetlands and farm country fragrant with the sweet aroma of Sweet Clover.

The sea of lily pads was spectacular.

Mosaic of lily pads -
good for a jigsaw puzzle?

Sister-in-laws were great company along the trail.
The trail is well maintained with nice rest stops for a picnic.

Of course on the return trip I couldn't resist another 'bum rest' for a few photo moments.

LILY PAD

Suspended -
rooted deep below it's reflection
blooming by day where it is planted
Resting -
may the beauty of Jesus
be seen in me.

Love all the beautiful photos. It looks like a nice place to camp and explore. Looks like you siblings had a great time.
