Just a few weeks ago the promises of springtime were still encapsulated in icicles, but yesterday from my kitchen nook I was sure the little spirea shrub tucked into our entryway was showing a tinge of green. Out I went, and with my macro lens was delighted to capture the first signs of spring.
Impatient for colour in my outdoor surroundings I turned to the intricate details of the posies at the breakfast table, their beauty enhanced by the warm rays of morning sunshine.
No winter lasts forever;
no spring skips its turn.
