Some of my favourite inspirational bloggers have challenged their readers to choose a single word which becomes a focus throughout the year, and so without too much deliberation the word for me is LIGHT.
LIGHT is so obvious, so necessary, and so full of mystery. The word bears multiple definitions apart from being a source of illumination both physically and spiritually, so I know that I will delight in looking for and becoming aware of its impact in my life. It will become a theme that will surface frequently in blog posts especially as I capture the effect of light in photography.
We are only 18 days into this new year and already I have rediscovered eternal truths about the source of all light which encourages me to keep exploring, experiencing and living out life as God has designed for me.
"God is light; in him there is no darkness at all." 1 John 1:5
It is my desire to live deeply in this light,
anointed by his divine intervention to be a reflection of his love.
