SUMMIT LAKE, BC

Summer blog posts have repeating themes of camping, forests, lakes, rivers, waterfalls and wildflowers and this year it is about seeing this in Supernatural British Columbia. We love our provincial parks but it isn't always easy to get reservations so we ventured into an unknown private campsite on Summit Lake, east of Nakusp only to be pleasantly surprised by it's beauty and spaciousness, acres of green grass, a large playground and swimming area with a dock.

Solitude in the early hours of the day

Simply serene at sunset
