This fabulous resort is owned by the Austrian Swarovski family who have incorporated 3.5 million crystals worth 10 million dollars into every aspect of it's design. Now just to clarify, the opulence of this resort does not equate to a super expensive stay. It was nice that they offered a great rate for locals during winter months. The price adds up only if one chooses the specialty amenities. Maybe I can entice you to come and visit.

Beyond these doors lie opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation in seven uniquely designed aromatherapy infused steam and sauna rooms, massage and beauty salons. And for an extreme experience that is rather pricey, the Cryotherapy cold sauna at -110 C.
The large serenity pool provides the relaxation of underwater music. Then on to a hot whirlpool and slipping through a tunnel to the outdoor infinity pool which overlooks Okanagan Lake. For most of our little vacation there was absolutely no view as the valley was shrouded in thick fog. It was quite surreal to float in the infinity pool completely surrounded by fog.
Guest rooms feature crystal architecture and wall to ceiling windows.
The crystal fireplace in our room and crystal starlight over the double soaker tub
Our foggy view was enhanced by a tall pine tree lit up with LED lights.
The Dining Room where we enjoyed a complimentary brunch each morning.
Just a few close-ups of the sparking crystals
It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend Sparking Hill Resort.
