| Lakeside camping |
We paddle,
kayaks slicing effortlessly
through deep aquamarine water
into a tiny magical cove
where high walled cliffs thick with moss
and gnarly rooted trees,
deep shadows, stillness and awe envelop us
as we glide to a timid tumbling waterfall
gurgling with a sparkle of joy.
We float side by side
in serenity
