OCTOBER ROSE

October is all about Thanksgiving day, leaves changing colour, the late harvest of gardens, fields glowing with orange pumpkins, crisp cool mornings........

October is also about savouring the remnants of summer's glory from the flower garden. The nights are too cool to bring maturity to the last rose buds, but bring them indoors and they burst forth with a vibrant surge of all the potential the Creator has infused into their being. My Rainbow Sorbet rose has given me so much delight as I have watched it unfurl and transform from it's rich hues to it's fading moments.
