The Advent season of Christmas celebrates a time of waiting and contemplation;
Jesus Christ came as our Saviour,
Jesus Christ comes to us now in a personal relationship,
Jesus Christ is coming back one day with the hope
of eternal life with Him.
This is a season of HOPE - faith, trust,
expectation and assurance.
HOPE comes to us as a gift.
This year our church is unpacking THE BOX,
a gift to our community.

I had a fun afternoon this week baking up a storm with three friends. Our dozens and dozens of delicious cookies are just a 'drop in the bucket' towards the thousands of cookies that will be served at our Living Nativity event.
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace
as you trust in him, so that you may overflow
with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
