AUTUMN R&R

One of Beautiful BC's hot springs is nestled in a forest along Arrow Lake, a destination that offers warm healing waters, a glorious mountain vista, a rocky shoreline for treasure hunting, lakeside trails and a cosy loft cottage with a fireplace to keep toasty warm on chilly fall evenings ( that is when one is not soaking in the hot mineral springs.)
What more could one ask for in a place to rest, relax, rejuvenate and enjoy the company of good friends.

On the brink!

Babbling brooks and a heritage chapel.

Reflections in the chapel window.

A blend of seasons.

At the Galena ferry terminal hundreds of  Inukshuks stand guard. One meaning of these rock cairns is: Someone has been here. Another meaning is: You are on the right path. This looks more like a confusing maze, and I smiled as I gathered several rocks and added my own marker.

The softened light, the veiling haze,
The calm repose of autumn days,
Steal gently o'er the troubled breast,
Soothing life's weary cares to rest.
