CASA VIRGILIOS

What a great find in Riviera Nayarit - a Bed and Breakfast second to none tucked behind the hotel zone and a mere 10 minute walk to a gorgeous beach. I usually have reservations about booking accommodations and what sweet relief to have found a gem of a place when I stepped out of the taxi cab.  Casa Virgilios could be described as colonial Mexican in decor with it's carved and rattan furniture, wall murals and extensive decorative tiles. A house needs a heart to make it a home and that became very clear as we met our host Virgilios and his wonderful staff. Casa Virgilios became our home for a week, a place to rest, relax and be refreshed in a most ambient setting.
My passion for photography was fuelled by picturesque moments in so many nooks and crannies on this property. This vacation as others, will again hold many treasured unique memories.

Every day was as beautiful as the day before and always ended with

gorgeous sunsets which we watched from the little palapas along the canal or
we walked to the beach to see the sun sink behind the horizon.
