How much sweeter can it get than a bouquet of posies clutched in the chubby fist of a grandchild, his face beaming like sunshine, as he reached out to present it to Gramma .
Out on a little hike with his 'Tampa' (Grampa) they came across the first of the spring season's wildflowers which embellish our dry hillsides with their golden yellow petals. Usually wild flowers wilt very quickly, but this little threesome held their heads high, with stems buried deep in water for almost a week.

A few weeks earlier our 3 year old grand-girlie brought me a handful of dry grasses and weeds saying: "Here are details for you Gramma." I loved the word details as it so describes even the ordinary things that add touches of joy and beauty to my home. Oh, how such little tokens of love made my heart glad. Soon there will be posies to gather in my garden!
