Sunbeams stream through hemlock and cedars
casting a dappled pattern on
the lush Lacy Fern moss carpet of the forest floor
scattered with RED -
Bunch Berries, Huckleberries, False Solomon Seal
and a mushroom vessel with nectar for
the creatures of the woods.
A trail tangled with roots and rocks
snakes in and out
along the tumbling icy Yard Creek.
