SUMMER SKY
The summer sky so unpredictable, it lies
immeasurable in expanse so lofty, as
from earthly places where my eyes
keep watch o'er clouds that fly
designing a canvas both wild, sometimes softly, from
shades of blue with hues of pinks and golden glow
to smokey grays from untamed fires, does blow
a crimson globe from heights to mountain low
as darkness swallows day
and rain does fall.
